How many milligrams of CBD are in Welleaf® products?

The amount of CBD per serving can vary per product. Our Welleaf® Slumber Gummies have 5mg of CBD per gummy and our Welly Beans deliver 10mg (per bean) of CBD. Check the back label of the product for more detailed information.

What is CBN, is it like CBD?

Our Welleaf® Slumber Gummies contain 5mg of CBN per gummy. Hemp contains many naturally-occurring phytocannabinoids, including CBD and CBN. CBN is formed as a byproduct from the oxidation of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). CBN is not psychoactive, like THC. CBN has been shown to promote sleep and improve sleep quality with no next day grogginess. CBN has a more sedative effect, whereas CBD has a relaxing effect. What is the 2018 Farm Bill, and what is 0.3% total THC content?

The 2018 Farm Bill provides guidelines for how hemp products are to be sold in the USA — even though cannabis may not be legally sold in all states. Our Hemp Extract products contain no more than 0.3% total THC by dry weight. This negligible 0.3% percentage is the FDA standard by which all legal US hemp product is measured — aligning with the dry weight percentages set by US law in the 2018 Farm Bill. The trace amount of THC (below 0.3%) does not have a psychoactive affect on the body.

Are Welleaf® products lab tested?

Yes. All Welleaf® products are lab tested for CBD content, and product quality control. Our source Hemp is also tested and is pesticide and heavy metal free.

Will I taste the CBD in Welleaf® products?

Are Welleaf® products vegetarian-friendly?

Welleaf® welly beans are vegetarian-friendly — the gourmet welly beans are not made with gelatin, and only a minimal amount of beeswax.

Are Welleaf® products vegan-friendly?

Some of our products contain a minimal amount of animal products. For instance, our Welleaf® welly beans contain a very small amount of bees wax. If you are a strict vegan, no Welleaf® welly beans are not vegan-friendly. Check the product back label for more detailed information.

Is the hemp used to make the CBD, heavy metal and pesticide-free?

Welleaf® products are heavy metal and pesticide-free. Our source hemp is grown in states where state law requires heavy metal testing.

Are Welleaf® products THC-Free?

Welleaf® products follow the FDA guidelines and federal laws covering Hemp products. These guidelines can be found in the 2018 Farm Act. All of our hemp products contain no more than 0.3% total THC by dry weight. This is a negligible amount of THC, and is not enough to produce a high. But keep in mind, this negligible amount may show up on very sensitive drug tests at trace levels under 0.3%.
